AB Cycle Studio Logo Design
AB Cycle Studio is a new cycling studio launching in Michigan's competitive fitness market. They needed a brand identity that would make a strong first impression from day one — something with energy and personality that wouldn't get lost in a sea of generic fitness logos. We designed a clean, abstract mark that captures the feel of cycling without relying on the obvious.

The Challenge
As a brand-new studio, AB Cycle had no existing presence to lean on — every first impression would be made by the brand itself. The fitness industry is flooded with forgettable logos and cookie-cutter branding, and they knew a generic mark would bury them before they even opened the doors. They needed something modern and professional enough to be taken seriously, but with enough personality to stick. The tricky part: communicating the energy and passion of cycling without falling back on clichés like bike wheels or spinning graphics.
The Solution
We developed multiple concept directions exploring different approaches to the brand. AB Cycle connected immediately with one of the first renderings — a clean, abstract mark that hints at movement and momentum without being literal about it. That instinct told us we’d hit the right balance between energy and restraint. The two-color palette was intentional: orange brings the passion and intensity of a great ride, while blue grounds the brand in professionalism and trust. The mark is simple enough to read at any size — from a social media icon to storefront signage — and distinct enough that it won’t be confused with anyone else in the market. AB Cycle launched with a logo that sets the tone for everything that follows: the signage, the merch, the social presence. They have a visual foundation that grows with the business instead of something they’ll outgrow in a year.
