Genie’s Pet Sitting Leave Behind Cards

Genie's Pet Sitting is a full-time, professional pet care service based in Sterling Heights, Michigan. After we redesigned her logo, Genie needed a tangible tool she could hand to clients during pricing consultations - something that looked as professional as the care she provides. We designed and produced a custom leave-behind card that doubles as a writable pricing sheet, giving her a branded touchpoint that works in the moment and stays with the client long after the conversation ends.

The Challenge

Genie had just leveled up her brand with a new logo and visual identity, but the client-facing experience hadn’t caught up yet. When she sat down to discuss pricing with a potential client, she needed something polished to leave behind – something that matched the professionalism she’d built everywhere else. For a Fear Free Certified, CPR-trained professional competing against casual pet sitters and app-based services, that gap between her qualifications and her printed materials was worth closing.

The Solution

We started with the interaction itself. Genie meets with clients face-to-face, walks through her service tiers, and customizes pricing on the spot. That meant the card couldn’t just be a static handout – it needed writable fields she could fill in during the conversation.

That one requirement drove the entire production decision. We specified 14pt C1S cardstock with UV coating on the front only. The coated side carries the full branding – logo, credentials, QR code linking to her Linktree, a callout for her 75+ five-star reviews, and her service area. The uncoated back is where the card becomes a tool. Genie can grab any pen or pencil and fill out the pricing fields cleanly. No fighting a glossy surface with a Sharpie. No scratching through coating that won’t take ink.

The 5.5″ x 5.5″ square format gives the piece enough presence to feel substantial without being awkward to hand over or tuck into a folder. We designed everything in Illustrator using her established Pantone palette, keeping all elements vector for future scalability. The layout packs a lot into a small footprint – tiered service pricing on one side, a full credential rundown and review callout on the other.

When Genie finishes a consultation now, the client walks away holding a branded document with their custom pricing in writing. It functions like a soft agreement – everything discussed is documented, personalized, and professional. That’s a completely different experience than trying to remember a verbal quote three days later.
