Eastside Community Chamber Annual Directory Covers
The Eastside Community Chamber of Commerce serves businesses across Eastpointe, Roseville, and Fraser, and every year they publish a Community Profile and Membership Directory that lands in the hands of every new business and new resident in the area. Since 2020, we've designed the cover for that directory. Same client, fresh look every year.

The Challenge
A chamber directory isn’t just a list of members. It’s the introduction packet for anyone moving into the community or starting a business on the east side of Macomb County. With the chamber growing year over year (Fraser officially joined in 2020, and the rebrand to Eastside Community Chamber landed in 2025), the cover had two jobs at once: feel current to longtime members and tell new ones exactly where they were. Reusing last year’s design wasn’t an option.
The Solution
Each year starts the same way. Our team kicks around concepts with Linda, the chamber’s executive director. Some ideas come from her side, some from ours, and we work through what fits where the chamber is headed that year.
The lamppost and hanging street signs concept came out of one of those early conversations. A street-level motif that anchored the city names (Eastpointe, Roseville, Fraser) in something tangible and immediately recognizable. That became the recurring visual system from 2020 through 2023, with each cover swapping the backdrop, the palette, and the seasonal mood. In 2022 we broke the formula for a year and built a park bench scene that leaned into the chamber’s community-first identity.
When the chamber rebranded to the Eastside Community Chamber in 2025, the cover system evolved with it. A paper-cut illustration style. A suburban skyline with a park out front. The new “Where Business Meets Community” tagline along the bottom. The 2026 cover holds that style but shifts the palette, keeping the annual differentiation rhythm going under the new brand.
Six covers in, the chamber has a visual record of its own growth. From a two-city chamber, to three cities with Fraser, to the full Eastside Community identity it carries today. Every new resident and new business owner who pulls a copy off the welcome stack gets something current, polished, and unmistakably theirs.
