CNC Systems has been Metro Detroit’s trusted computer repair service since 1987. While they’ve built a stellar reputation through word-of-mouth and exceptional service, their digital presence hadn’t evolved with their business. Our mission was to transform their outdated website into a modern digital storefront that would drive foot traffic to their physical location.
The Challenge: Digital Disconnect
The original website featured a dated black background with circuit board imagery that created a technical but cluttered appearance. Key issues included:
- Poor visual hierarchy making it difficult to quickly identify services
- Lack of clear calls-to-action to drive store visits
- Text-heavy content with minimal visual breaks

Subtle Curved Section Dividers
We incorporated gentle curved separators between content sections, creating a more inviting flow through the page while maintaining a professional tech aesthetic. This small detail adds sophistication and guides the eye naturally through the content.
Interactive Elements
Subtle hover animations bring the site to life without overwhelming visitors. Service cards gently rise when hovered, buttons change color, and navigation elements respond to user interaction – all creating a sense of polish and responsiveness.
Scroll Animations
Elements gracefully slide into view as users scroll down the page, creating an engaging experience that reveals information progressively. These subtle animations help highlight key service offerings and call-to-action buttons.
Dynamic Year Counter
We implemented an auto-updating year counter that displays their years in business (currently 38 years). This dynamic element ensures the website stays current without requiring manual updates and emphasizes their impressive longevity in the industry.
Store-Focused Strategy
Unlike many modern websites focused on online services, CNC Systems’ business model revolves around in-person service. We carefully crafted every page to funnel visitors toward visiting the store:
- Prominent “Get Directions” and “Call Us” buttons on every page
- Multiple contact forms strategically placed throughout the site
- Clear business hours and location information in the footer
- Featured Google Maps integration for easy navigation
- Emphasis on free in-store estimates as a key value proposition
