In 2018, Fusion Marketing had the unique opportunity to design a logo for “The Dinner Detroit,” an inspiring initiative that was far more than just a gathering; it was a social experiment aimed at fostering a community and creating a space for meaningful conversations among diverse participants. The potluck-style event emphasized the sharing of food and the exchange of perspectives on challenging topics, all within a safe and welcoming environment.

We created a logo for The Dinner Detroit using Adobe Illustrator. The primary challenge was to develop a simple and easily recognizable brand without falling into the trap of being overly complex. Our approach involved thorough discussions with the client to understand the core values of The Dinner Detroit. The logo’s design features a subtle nod to the shape of a plate. It incorporates a unique form into the “I” of Dinner, symbolizing unity and togetherness.
