The Car Wash industry has been on the rise with an estimated $2.7 Billion in annual revenue and a growth rate of 11% annually. With this increase, there is also a need for creativity to help stand out from the competition tough.
We have looked over the logos for the top 6 rated carwashes in the country. The logos are all creative and timeless, so you can use them as inspiration for your own logo design!
Coming in at number 6 on the list (of 100) Is Tommy’s Express Car Wash. This company happens to be from our home state! They are out of Holland, MI.
Tommy’s Express’s logo design uses a black oval background with white block lettering in a bold font that says “Tommy’s Express.” Underneath, you will see that in white, black block lettering on a white oval, they added “Car Wash” to the logo. Above the wording, there are 3 curved red lines that, when paired with a tire’s black oval illicit images.
This logo is classic with its red, black, and white custom logo design. But, you know what you’re looking at from a ways away!
The designers who created the Autobell Car Wash logo out of Charlotte, NC, wanted to keep things simple but have the car wash logo pair perfectly with the name of the car wash business.
On a red background in the shape of a square, a white arch hangs a gold bell. Underneath the bell in white capital letters, it reads “AUTOBELL” and below that “CAR WASH.”
You may also notice that it looks like they used a couple of different fonts for their car wash logos. Again, it’s essential to personalize your logo as much as possible so that people can recognize your car wash business from a distance.
From looking at this logo, you can understand visually what the business is about and differentiate it from other logos in the industry.
When you see a rubber ducky, you think about a bath, right? However, the car wash logo maker who came up with illustrations for this Roseville, CA company coming in at number four on the list clearly didn’t use cheap car wash templates to create this logo. Instead, they make sure to customize their ideas for the best experience.
The green text states “Quick Quack” above white lettering that reads “Car Wash” in a green rectangular box. Next to the wording, you’ll see a yellow duck who happens to be wearing a pair of sunglasses.
Who wouldn’t want this guy on a sign next to their company name?
Zips Car Wash in Little Rock, AK, comes in at number 3, and it’s easy to see why.
On this logo design, you’ll see “ZIPS” written in bold white lettering, outlined in black, and then outlined again in a teal color. Behind this is a black and white checkerboard flag that screams, “you don’t have to search! We’re a car wash!” The logo is in the shape of a circle. Above the flag on a yellow background, you’ll see the “Express” in black lettering. Below the banner on a red background, it reads “Car Wash” in white capitals.
This logo makes it evident that you are going to be cleaning your car at this establishment.
Another Charlotte, NC company, Driven Brand, is number 2 on the list of top 6 carwashes.
This logo has a clean look that perfectly fits the car industry’s color schemes and car wash logos. A black rectangular background adorned with “Driven” in yellow and “Brands” in white. Underneath is a slash of red to underline everything.
Again, we see those colors that dozens, if not hundreds of respective owners of car washes tend to use in their car wash logos.
Finally, coming in at number one on the top 100 car washes list, we have Mister Car Washout of Tucson, AZ.
This design is about as simple as you can get with a transparent background and white block lettering that says only “Mister.” Instead of a normal “I,” the designers decided to use a yellow sparkle. Fitting.
This car wash logo is the simplest of all of the logos we’ve looked at, but it’s also different enough to stand out in the world. When you browse Google for car wash logos, you see a lot of redundant themes. Black and white checkers, red, white, and black logos, it’s almost as if they were all created by the same designer. They get the message across, but without as much personalization as Mister.
It’s easy to see why this brand is number one!
