Get the professional design services your org deserves

Free Logo Design & Website Development for Nonprofits That Make a Difference

Look, we see you. Working late nights. Stretching every dollar. Changing the world with tools that don’t match the importance of your mission.

That brochure you created in Microsoft Word? That logo your board member’s nephew designed? That website that hasn’t been updated since 2018?

Your work deserves better. And we’ve built something to make that happen.

We know it sounds crazy, but it’s simple

The Pairadox Project isn’t charity. It’s a fundamental reimagining of how business and community can work together.

When a business hires us for a logo design or website project, we provide the EXACT SAME SERVICE to a nonprofit in their chosen cause category. No watered-down version, no shortcuts – the real thing.

After all, 93% of nonprofits report that a strong brand identity, including the logo, positively impacts donor engagement.

What you get:

  • Professional logo design or custom website development
  • Press coverage highlighting your mission
  • Social media exposure through our channels
  • Connection to supportive local businesses
  • A design that actually reflects the importance of your work

And the cost to you? Absolutely nothing!

We elevate brands that care

How it actually works

1. You apply

Look, we’ve kept this ridiculously simple. The application form takes less than 10 minutes to complete. No grant-writing degree required. Just tell us who you are and what matters to your organization.

2. Your application is reviewed

We do a quick check to make sure you meet the basic requirements. Are you a nonprofit or mutual aid org? Have you been around at least 12 months? Is your budget under $1 million? No weird exclusion criteria here – just making sure we’re all aligned.

3. You're added to our selection pool

Once approved, you’re in! We organize the pool by cause category (environment, education, veterans, etc.), which is how businesses find you. You’ll stay in the pool for up to 12 months – plenty of time to get matched.

4. Clients choose a cause category

When a business contracts a logo or website project with us, they select a cause they’re passionate about. Maybe it’s animal welfare. Maybe it’s food security. Whatever they choose, we do a completely transparent, recorded random selection from that category. No favoritism, no backroom deals – just pure chance.

5. You get 'paired'

The random selection pairs you with a business that actually gives a damn about your cause. This isn’t some corporate “giving program” where you’re just a tax write-off. These are real local businesses that want to support work like yours.

6. We deliver professional design work

Here’s where the magic happens. You get the EXACT SAME service the business paid for – same quality, same process, same deliverables. No watered-down nonprofit version. The real deal, professional design work that normally costs thousands.

7. Everyone celebrates

We create a press release highlighting both organizations, send it to local media outlets, and share across social channels. The business gets recognized as a community leader, you get visibility for your mission, and everyone wins. That’s the Pairadox.

Sounds too good to be true?

"So, what's the catch?"

We know it sounds crazy, but there isn’t one. We love working with companies and orgs that care about more than just money. The Pairadox Project puts us on their radar while making real change in the community.

"How long does this actually take?"

It depends – how quickly do you usually reply to emails? Logo design projects take a few weeks to a month and web projects take a bit longer depending on the scope of the work.

"Do we have to share the Pariadox thing?"

You aren’t obligated to do anything other than share an impact report and quick video testimonial after wrapping up the project but you’re welcome to help spread the word.

"What if we're not selected?"

Your organization remains in our selection pool for a minimum 12 months from application. The selection is random, but with businesses joining the program monthly, your chances are better than you might think.

Who we’re looking to help

If your passionate team is changing the world with limited resources, we want to talk.

We’re looking for partners who:

  • Have been hustling for at least 12 months (look, we had to draw the line somewhere)
  • Are operating with under $1 million annually (because that’s where professional design becomes a game-changer, not just a nice-to-have)
  • Are embedded in local communities right here in the US
  • Get what we’re about – authenticity, breaking the rules that don’t serve anyone, and actual partnerships
  • Fit somewhere in our cause categories (from animal rescues to veteran support – the full list is below)
  • Can hit us back within 48 hours when we reach out (we move fast and respect your time – we expect the same)

No perfect paperwork required. No fancy grant writing skills needed. Just real organizations doing work that matters.

Why are we doing this?

Look, we’ve been watching small businesses and nonprofits in the same communities for years, and there’s this weird disconnect. The business owner who cares deeply about education is writing checks to the Little League while the literacy nonprofit three blocks away is struggling with a photocopy of a logo a volunteer drew circa 2003.

It’s not that business owners don’t give a damn. They absolutely do.

But the traditional “sponsorship” model is broken. Those banners collecting dust on outfield fences? That $250 table at the annual gala? They’re band-aids on bullet wounds. And honestly, they don’t do much for either side.

We built Pairadox because we’re tired of watching passionate organizations do incredible work with visual branding that screams “afterthought.” And we’re tired of businesses wanting to make real impact but getting stuck in checkbook charity that doesn’t move the needle.

Here’s what we know after 10+ years in this game: Professional design isn’t a luxury – it’s rocket fuel for small organizations. A proper website can double your donor response rate. A professional logo makes volunteers proud to wear your t-shirt. All that “superficial design stuff” actually translates to more resources for your mission.

So yeah, we could keep donating to random causes when we feel guilty, or we could use what we’re actually good at – design that drives results – to create systematic, sustainable impact.

This isn’t charity. It’s community infrastructure.

And for our paying clients? They’re not just getting great design – they’re getting a genuine story worth telling. Something that reflects who they actually are, not some corporate BS philanthropy program.

A PERSONAL NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER [click to expand]

I’ve been working with mutual aid programs for close to 20 years now. Growing up poor on the east side of Detroit, I truly know what struggle looks like. Now that I’m in a position to shake things up, me and my team are on a mission to redefine how our industry does business.

We moved ALL of our marketing dollars into this project because I have a hunch that investing in our communities is going to pay dividends. That’s right – we scrapped our entire traditional marketing budget. No more Facebook ads. No more Google keyword bullshit. No more “brand awareness” campaigns that don’t connect with actual humans.

Instead, we’re betting the whole damn company on a simple idea: when businesses invest directly in their communities, everyone wins. 🙌

Look, I didn’t build Fusion Marketing just to be another agency creating pretty designs that don’t actually change anything. The world has enough of those already. I built it because I saw firsthand how much impact even small organizations can have when someone gives a shit about helping them succeed.

When this works, and it WILL work, I’ll be able to show a blueprint to other businesses so we can all make more of a difference together. Imagine if every company in your city took just 10% of their marketing budget and invested it directly in community organizations. The math isn’t crazy – and it would change EVERYTHING.

I’m tired of waiting for some mythical “right time” to start making a difference. That time is now. That place is here. And the Pairadox Project is how we’re doing it.

Are you in?

Welcome to the Pairadox Project!

ℹ️ Before you start: Quick info about the application process (click to expand)

Hey there! Thanks for your interest in the Pairadox Project. Look, we built this program because we believe in the work you're doing. When a business hires us for branding, logo or website design, we provide the EXACT SAME SERVICE to a nonprofit in their chosen cause category. No watered-down version, no shortcuts - the real deal.

When businesses participate, they get a custom "Pairadox Partner" plaque for their wall, recognition as a community supporter, and press coverage highlighting their values in action. For you? You get thousands of dollars of professional design work that might otherwise be out of reach.

Before you dive into this application, a few things to know:

  • You'll need to participate in press releases and social media coverage
  • The process includes a recorded random selection event
  • All projects are completed to the same professional standards as our paying clients

What you'll need to apply:

  • Organization details: Your EIN number (or mutual aid documentation if you're not formally registered)
  • Mission statement: Your official mission and a brief description of what you do
  • Impact category: Which of our 12 categories best describes your work
  • Contact info: Who we'll be working with and how to reach them
  • Project needs: Clear explanation of how a new logo or website would advance your mission
  • Supporting documents: 501(c)(3) letter or proof of 12+ months of operation for mutual aid groups

📣 Mutual Aid Organizations Welcome!

Not a registered 501(c)(3)? No problem! Mutual aid organizations are absolutely eligible for the Pairadox Project. Instead of an EIN, you'll just need to provide documentation showing you've been operating for at least 12 months (bank statements, event flyers, social media history, etc.).

Ready to build something different with us? Let's do this!

Is this actually free? Where's the hidden fee?

Yeah, it's really free. No catches, no "premium upgrades," no bait-and-switch. We're not going to hit you with surprise charges six months in. The design work is completely free.

The only "cost" is your participation – you need to provide feedback within 48 hours, show up for meetings, and let us feature you in our press and social media.

For Websites: After 12 months, you'll need to pay for website hosting if you want to keep your site up (it's about $100/month). But we'll remind you well before that happens, and hey, if that's out of your budget, you can migrate the website elsewhere because YOU own it.

For Branding: Once we finish designing your logo and packaging it up, it's all yours. Pretty cut and dry.

Why would you give away services for free? What's in it for you?

Look, we're not claiming to be saints – we're running a business. This program helps us connect with paying clients who care about making an impact, gives us interesting projects for our portfolio, and honestly, it just makes our work more meaningful. We already donate design services to causes we care about. This program just makes it official, systematic, and creates a bigger impact. Plus, we get to sleep better at night knowing we're not just another agency making pretty things for rich people.

2
3
Do we have to be a registered 501(c)(3)?

Nope. You need either an EIN proving nonprofit status OR documentation showing you've been operating as a nonprofit/mutual aid organization for at least 12 months. We're not hung up on paperwork – we care about the impact you're making. Mutual aid collectives, grassroots organizations, and community groups are all welcome as long as you can demonstrate your legitimate community work and align with our morals as a company.

2
3
Our organization has religious roots but isn't a church. Do we qualify?

Probably! We welcome organizations with religious affiliations whose primary mission is community service, empowerment, and inclusion. What we don't work with are organizations whose main purpose is worship services, proselytizing, or promoting exclusionary beliefs. We evaluate each application based on the actual community work being done, not the spiritual inspiration behind it. For example, we've worked with groups that use faith as a foundation for community building, women's empowerment, and supporting local economies. The key question is: are you primarily focused on helping people or converting them?

2
3
What happens if we get selected? What's the timeline?

First, we'll celebrate! Then, we'll schedule a discovery call within two weeks of your selection.

For Branding/Logo Projects:

  • Typically take 3-4 weeks from start to finish
  • Week 1: Discovery call and research
  • Week 2: Initial concepts (2-3 directions)
  • Week 3: Refinements based on your feedback
  • Week 4: Finalization and file delivery

For Website Projects:

  • Usually take 6-8 weeks from kickoff to launch
  • Week 1-4: Discovery, sitemap, and content planning
  • Week 5-6: Development and content loading
  • Week 7-8: Testing, training, and launch

We have a proprietary system that we use for proofing. Your team needs to designate one point person who can respond to our questions within 48 hours throughout the project (because nothing kills a project faster than waiting two weeks for feedback on a design draft).

2
3
What if we're selected but can't participate right now?

Life happens. If you get selected but it's a terrible time (you're in the middle of a major event, your ED just quit, whatever), you'll need to decline the opportunity.

For All Projects:
If you decline after being selected, you can reapply after a 6-month waiting period. We'll conduct a new selection from the same category pool to find another nonprofit for the current business partner.
Just let us know within 48 hours of being selected so we can keep the process moving smoothly. We get that timing doesn't always work out, but this policy helps us ensure businesses aren't left waiting too long to make their impact or passing on projects in the hope of a bigger "jackpot."

2
3
What do you mean by "random selection"? How does that work?

We use a digital wheel spinner (wheelofnames.com) with the business owner present, and we record the whole thing. The business chooses cause categories they care about, and we add all eligible nonprofits from those categories to the wheel. Then, we spin it while we record. No backroom deals, no playing favorites. If your name is on the wheel, you have an equal shot. The randomness is the whole point - it ensures we're not just helping the nonprofits with the slickest applications or the best connections.

What's actually included in the free services?

For Branding/Logo Design:

  • Complete brand discovery process to nail your organization's personality
  • Multiple concept designs (we don't stop at just one or two)
  • Refinement rounds until we get it right
  • Final logo in ALL file formats you'll need
  • All deliverables the client purchased (brand guide, templates, etc)
  • All the files packaged up nicely for you to keep forever

For Website Development:

  • Professional WordPress website that works on all devices
  • Basic SEO implementation so people can actually find you
  • Content architecture that makes sense for your users
  • 12 months of hosting on our secure servers
  • Security updates for a year
  • Development reflected by the paying client contract

We don't water down the nonprofit version. You get exactly what a paying client would get for the same service. No "lite" versions here.

2
3
What are our responsibilities if we're selected?

For All Projects:

  • Respond to communications within 48 hours (seriously, this is crucial)
  • Participate in the discovery process to help us understand your organization
  • Participate in an impact report interview
  • Approve the press release we write about the partnership
  • Provide a video testimonial when the project wraps
  • Share about the program on your social channels (this helps us reach more paying clients, which means more nonprofits get help)

2
3
How do you determine which nonprofits go into the selection pool?

Any organization that meets our basic criteria gets added to the pool in their relevant cause categories. The criteria are pretty simple: you need to be a legitimate nonprofit/mutual aid organization (with either an EIN or 12+ months of operation documentation), you need to actually need the service you're applying for, and you can't be promoting harmful ideologies. We don't exclude based on size, age (beyond the 12-month minimum), or cause area (except where noted in our guidelines). If you're doing good work, we want you in the pool.

2
3
Do you have a list of the non-profit categories that you support?

Every paying client gets to select up to three Cause Categories to support. Then, we randomly select an organization to support.

Here is a list of the current Cause Categories:

Animal Welfare & Rescue, Children & Youth Services, Community Arts & Culture, Disability Services & Accessibility, Disaster Relief, Domestic Violence Services, Education & Literacy, Environmental Conservation, Food Security & Nutrition, Homelessness & Housing Support, Mental Health Services, Veterans Services

BONUS: Is there anything that would get us immediately disqualified?

Yep. Organizations that promote hatred or discrimination against any group of people are a hard no for us. We also don't work with organizations that have annual budgets over $1 million (because y'all can afford to pay for design services, and we want to help those who truly can't), political campaigns (too divisive), or organizations that haven't been operating for at least a year (we need to know you're in it for the long haul).

For larger nonprofits who want to make an impact:
Hey, we get it. Maybe you started out as a scrappy little nonprofit, but now you've grown into something bigger. You remember the days of DIY everything and budget spreadsheets that made you want to cry. Just because you've grown doesn't mean you can't be part of this.

If your nonprofit has an annual budget over $1 million, you can absolutely become a Pairadox Partner! You'll go through the same process as any business client - hire us for the services your organization needs, choose your cause categories, and help a smaller nonprofit that's still at the starting line. You get professional design work for your organization while paying it forward to the smaller organizations following in your footsteps. Talk about full circle! Reach out directly to discuss becoming a Pairadox Partner.

This is opportunity, and it’s knocking

Don’t let another day go by with branding that’s actively working against your mission. The world needs to hear your story – let’s make sure they don’t check out before they get to.
